Gerson da Cunha is an Indian journalist, author, stage and film actor as well as a former advertising man. Upon completion of his studies, he started his career as a journalist in the news agency Press Trust of India-Reuters, prior to working many years as a copywriter for Lintas communications. Following a research fellowship in São Paulo, he worked for UNICEF where he promoted social marketing campaigns for health projects in Central and South America. Having returned to Mumbai he dedicated himself to urban development, telecommunications and mobility in various organisations. Gerson da Cunha is now 89 years old, which does not stop him from
continuing his commitment to the media sector – as a guest speaker at the 15th Indian Film Festival Stuttgart 2018, for instance.
