Unsere Zeit ist geprägt von pandemiebedingter Isolation, antidemokratischen Tendenzen und Nationalismus. Gerade jetzt sind Austausche wichtig. Sie dienen als Mittel der Völkerverständigung, fördern interkulturellen Kompetenz und helfen, Vorurteilen abzubauen. Indien, dem Westen auf den ersten Blick fremd, rückt durch einen Aufenthalt im Land näher und wird durch die indische Gastfreundschaft schnell Teil der eigenen Lebenswirklichkeit. Anhand von Filmen und Bildern erhalten Sie einen Eindruck in Möglichkeiten des Live- und Online-Austausches mit Indien, das Leben in Gastfamilien, das indische Schulsystem sowie einige kulturelle Unterschiede, die es geschickt vorzubereiten gilt.
Das Projektzentrum für Internationale Schulkontakte am Seminar Stuttgart unterstützt Lehrer*innen bei Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Austauschmaßnahmen, insbesondere in Indien.

On the basis of videos and images you will get a impression of the possibilities of live and online exchange with India, life in host families, the Indian school system as well as some cultural differences, which have to be prepared carefully.
The Project Center for International School Contacts at the Seminar Stuttgart supports teachers in Baden-Württemberg in the preparation and implementation of exchange programs, especially in India.
