Tejaswini Sathe kommt aus Pune und wurde in Kathak von Manisha Sathe ausgebildet – einer legendären Kathak-Tänzerin und Schülerin von Gopi Krishna vom Banaras-Zweig des Kathak.
An der Universität Pune und anderen Instituten lehrt sie Kathak. Außerdem leitet sie dort eine Kathak-Tanzschule mit 350 Schüler*innen. Sie wurde mit der Auszeichnung ‚Singarmani‘ geehrt und ist eine anerkannte Künstlerin im indischen Fernsehen. Mit Tanz-Aufführungen trat sie in Indien, Japan, Australien und USA auf.

Tejaswini Sathe is from Pune and was trained in Kathak by Manisha Sathe – a legendary Kathak dancer and disciple of Gopi Krishna of the Banaras branch of Kathak.
She teaches Kathak at the University of Pune and other institutes. She also runs a Kathak dance school there with 350 students. She was honored with the ‘Singarmani’ award and is a recognized artist on Indian television. She has performed in India, Japan, Australia and the USA.
