As part of this year’s Indian Film Festival, we are dedicating an entire day to queer Indian cinema.
In four curated film blocks, we present a diverse selection of feature films, short films and documentaries that showcase queer perspectives, stories and realities of life from India in an impressive way.
This special series celebrates the creative power of queer filmmakers and invites the audience to engage with themes such as identity, love, marginalisation and self-empowerment – beyond stereotypical representations.
In co-operation with CSD Stuttgart e.V.
The Queer Special on 25 July 2025 includes
