This documentary is the portrait of famed Dashavatari artist Omprakash Chavan, who is known for his nuanced and celebrated portrayal of female roles. He narrates his views on the history and the present state of the artform which is in a decline, and how tradition could be preserved in modern times. Also shown is his entire transformation from man to woman, and his performance as Queen Satyaprabha in the play, ‘Vighnasantoshi’.
